The application guide has runnable examples and lists remaining work:
| Example | What it shows |
|---|---|
| SFTP browser and editor | Remote files over SSH |
| FTP/FTPS browser and editor | The same workflow over standard-library FTP/FTPS |
| Local media controller | Audio and video playback through mpv |
| Todo showcase | Matching Python, Rust, and C task-list applications |
| Task list, local file manager, document, memory provider, background jobs | Other runnable examples in the guide |
SFTP. Verifies SSH host keys, uses explicit identity files or an existing
SSH agent, and opens remote UTF-8 documents up to 8 MiB. Run ::sftp . with
its documented profile; Enter opens a file, and :write confirms the remaining
remote overwrite race.
FTP/FTPS. Defaults to certificate-verified FTPS with encrypted data connections. Plain FTP is an explicit profile choice and is labelled in the UI. Saves need native confirmation of non-atomic replacement, and credentials come from an explicit private file.
Both remote browsers:
| Action | Flow |
|---|---|
download | Asks for a new local path and stages up to 8 MiB of file bytes. When the browser shows Download ready, confirm-download opens the native review. Downloads never publish automatically; cancel-download cancels unaccepted work. |
upload | Freezes the bytes of a workspace disk file of at most 8 MiB; confirm-upload opens native confirmation for the remote destination. Unsaved editor text is not the disk file. cancel-upload cancels pending work; an unknown promotion outcome stays visible and blocks another upload until an explicit plugin restart. See binary uploads
. |
mkdir, rename, delete | Act on one remote file or empty directory. confirm-operation opens native confirmation; cancel-operation cancels. Deletion is permanent, checks are best effort, and an unknown outcome must be inspected before retrying. See the remote operation guide

Remote identities stay separate from local files, and open remote documents keep their identity and unsaved text.
Media controller. Plays workspace audio and video through an installed mpv, with a native playlist: play, pause, relative seek, next, previous, and stop. Video appears in mpv’s own window. Playback continues across detach and protects the persistent session while active; pausing releases that protection, and stop closes the player. The service adapter guide covers Spotify prerequisites and YouTube browser playback separately.
