Checking service health
Development reference · View source
Space o s or :service-health opens a read-only report on optional
services. It shows:
- syntax registry failures,
- the active document’s language server configuration and attachment,
- Git repository discovery, including a remembered failure or pending retry,
- the diagnostic log’s owner, level, path, and any failure.
It only probes paths, so it still works when every optional service is
missing. In mux mode the log row describes the host that owns the
workspace, not the client that opened the report.
The report is an informational overlay: arrows and paging scroll it, and Escape dismisses it. Printable keys and Enter cannot turn it into a filtered choice by accident.
